The ‘Comunità Mura’ association was founded in 1996 involving all expressions of the community. It is made up of volunteers from the village who take care of the equipped playground area in the heart of the countryside, bringing a general care of the village and a great attention to the quality of the environment and the surrounding nature. The association also promotes popular culture through the famous exhibition of Nativity Scenes in the streets of the Borgo during the Christmas period.

The Pro Loco of Cison di Valmarino was established in 1983 by spontaneous committees already operating in the area. Its members are active in the village’s growth and tourist appeal, enhancing the village in a successful combination of urban fabric and craftsmanship. The main events organised throughout the year are ‘Artigianato Vivo’ and ‘Stars at Christmas’; they attract tens of thousands of visitors.

The association is the custodian of the Loff Bivouac and the paths that lead there. Routes tenaciously tended and maintained by volunteers throughout the year. The hut, a symbol of hospitality for hikers, is located on a panoramic terrace at the foot of the Crodon del Gevero at an altitude of 1134 metres.

The ‘Amici di Rolle’ association aims to promote, protect and make known the natural, historical, artistic and cultural values of Rolle, its hills and surrounding area. The patron saint’s day of St James, in July, sees the entire community come together to celebrate.

“The dream in the drawer of a group of friends with a passion for sport and nature, eager to enhance the beauty of the area and make it known to Trail Running enthusiasts!” Thus was born the Trail del Gevero, a mountain race that takes place along paths, mule tracks and cart tracks, starting and finishing in the centre of Cison di Valmarino. The association is committed throughout the year to the maintenance of the trails and to cooperation with other associations for the qualification of the area.

The Pro Loco di Tovena actively works for the social and tourist development of the village, promoting its natural, cultural, historical and social potential. The month of October sees the highest expression of this focus on the community, with the event ‘Tovena in Festa’ and the centuries-old Fiera Franca for the celebrations of Saints Simon and Judas, recognised nationally as a ‘Sagra di Qualità’.

The Association aims to revalue and promote the environmental, historical, cultural and industrial archaeological heritage present along the valley of the ‘Rujo’ stream. Over the years, it has published more than 20 in-depth historical, anthropological and naturalistic researches on the area and promotes events such as “Il Bosco Incantato sulla via dell’acqua” (The Enchanted Forest on the Waterway) in cooperation with associations, institutes and third sector organisations.
