Testa del Piave

This work holds significant historical value, being the first donation ever made as part of the Artigianato Vivo festival. Created by the sculptor of the Piave river stones, Decimo Maso, it marks a moment of transition between tradition and openness toward new forms of expression. The material, drawn from the river, retains a strong sense of local identity and speaks to the memory of the place. More than a simple sculpture, the work bears witness to the beginning of a cultural journey that has helped redefine the relationship between craftsmanship and contemporary art in the area.
