In “Donne e alberi” the female figure merges with the natural element, becoming an integral part of the woodland landscape. The work suggests a primal return to nature, where the forest becomes a place of refuge, belonging and regeneration. The verticality of the form evokes growth and rootedness, while the paring down of volumes reflects the artist’s search for the essential. The theme of the journey, understood as inner movement as much as physical, runs through the piece: a path made of balance, silence and freedom, in which body and nature recognise themselves as a single entity.
