This work arises as a gesture of gratitude toward the village of Cison di Valmarino, seen through an intimate and personal gaze. The artist builds a layered vision of the town, in which nature, architecture and memory merge into a single visual narrative. The landscape thus becomes a living organism: welcoming and maternal in the valley, solid and protective in its structures, dynamic like the water that runs through it. The woodcut renders this complexity with great force, translating the deep bond between place, history and community into an incised mark.
