The work unfolds as a layered, intricate composition, built from a multitude of fragments that evoke the landscape, architecture and legends of the local area. The incised mark gives shape to a genuine visual labyrinth, populated by real and imagined figures: animals, anthropomorphic presences and symbolic references to local folklore. The piece invites viewers to lose themselves among the details, in a journey of discovery that conveys the magical, esoteric dimension of the village, filtered through an imaginative, storytelling gaze.
