Set in Borgo S. Francesco at the “crosera”, the crossroads between Via S. Francesco and Via Amedeo d’Aosta, this fountain was born of a collective gesture: the whole neighbourhood wanted it and supported its construction.
Created through shared work, with draughtsmen, bricklayers, stonecutters and sculptors taking turns in a festive atmosphere under the guidance of master Armando Tittonel and stonecutter Dario Salton “Broca”, it still bears the mark of a community that builds together.
Once a year, during the “Fontane Magiche” festival, water gives way to wine: a technical device conceived by Francesco Buffon “Franz Tuben”, which turns the fountain into a place of surprise and ritual.
